Father Patrick Kassab
Rev. Fr. Patrick Kassab is a Maronite Catholic priest, scholar, and educator whose ministry bridges intellectual rigor with deep pastoral compassion. Born and raised in Lebanon, his vocation has taken him across continents, languages, and traditions, shaping him into a leading figure within the Maronite Church in the United States.
đ Academic Foundations
Fr. Kassabâs intellectual journey began in Lebanon and culminated at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, where he earned a PhD in Dogmatic Theology. His doctoral research focused on Christâs descent among the dead in the Syriac tradition, merging theological precision with a profound appreciation for Eastern Christian thought.
In addition to his doctorate, he completed degrees in Pastoral Theology and Theological Studies, building a strong foundation for both classroom instruction and parish ministry.

Ordained in 2014, Fr. Kassab served at St. Raymond Cathedral in Missouri before being assigned to Saint Maron Church in Cleveland and Independence, Ohio, where he continues to serve as pastor. His commitment to nurturing spiritual growth, preserving liturgical heritage, and uplifting the faithful has revitalized his parish communities.

A dedicated professor of Systematic Theology at Holy Apostles College and Seminary, Fr. Kassab teaches with clarity and conviction, grounded in centuries of tradition and dialogue.
