Deacon Mario Ghosn
I was born in Ajaltoun, Lebanon, and moved to the U.S in 1999. I’m happily married to my wonderful wife, Maya, and we’re blessed with three amazing grown-up kids: John, Mario Jr., and Rita. I’m a restaurateur and oversee my own restaurant, and I also proudly serve as a Subdeacon at Saint Maron Church in Cleveland.
I love to read the Gospel daily—especially the Gospel of Saint John, which I’ve memorized in full. I’m drawn to it because it offers a unique perspective on the divinity of Jesus. I also pray the rosary every day, as it gives me comfort and a beautiful way to show my devotion to God and to our Mother Mary, whom I love dearly.
